Sunday July 21 Is Date For 2019 Sonoma State University Bluegrass Festival

The Sonoma State University Bluegrass Festival will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Weill Hall & Lawn, Green Music Center, on the SSU campus in Rohnert Park. Both indoor and outdoor seating will be available.

The Steep Canyon Rangers and The Dawg Trio will perform at the 4th annual event, which is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society. The separately-ticketed annual Craft Beer Festival (with additional bluegrass music) will be held before the main festival at the same location.

This Weekend’s Pick & Gather Festival To Feature Full Day Of Music On Saturday & More On Sunday

Saturday music at the Pick & Gather Festival at Riverdance Farms near Merced will run 9:30am-10:00pm, with more music to follow on Sunday. The Brookdale Bluegrass Band will perform on Saturday evening.

The NCBS-welcomed festival is this weekend, June 1-2. The farm is at 12230 Livingston-Cressy Road,  Livingston.

The unique music, farm, & river gathering is presented by Riverdance and will feature bluegrass and other music, camping, information about farm-to-table food, water quality, organic farming, fruit-picking, swimming in the Merced River and other farm fun.

Bloomfield Bluegrass Band To Perform For The First Time At The August 8-11 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival

The Bloomfield Bluegrass Band (Bloomfield) will perform for the very first time at the 26th Annual NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, August 8-11, 2019. The festival is the important annual benefit that supports the work of the Northern California Bluegrass Society. And it’s fun!

Riverdance Farms To Host The Pick & Gather Festival This Weekend In Livingston Near Merced

The 2019 Pick & Gather Festival at Riverdance Farms near Merced is this weekend, June 1-2. The farm is at 12230 Livingston-Cressy Road,  Livingston.

The Brookdale Bluegrass Band will lead a wide-ranging line-up of great acts.

The unique farm, river and music event will feature bluegrass and other music, camping, information about farm-to-table food, water quality, organic farming, fruit-picking, swimming in the Merced River and other farm-centric fun.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes this event. The NCBS Information Booth will be there — stop by and say hello!

NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund Now Accepting Donations For Fall 2019 Camp

You can now donate to the Northern California Bluegrass Society Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund for deserving students attending the Walker Creek Fall 2019 Music Camp near Petaluma, set for November 1-4.

NCBS is a Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) Organization that manages the scholarship fund and makes the awards. The camp is run each spring and fall by Ingrid Noyes at the Walker Creek Ranch.

The Steep Canyon Rangers will come to the 2019 Sonoma State University Bluegrass Festival to be held at the Weill Hall & Lawn, Green Music Center, on the SSU campus in Rohnert Park.

Both indoor and outdoor seating will be available at the elegant July 21, 2019 event. NCBS welcomes the festival to our area.
