The Central Valley’s Red Dog Ash is ready for the 26th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, August 8-11, 2019. The Tres Pinos festival benefits the work of the Northern California Bluegrass Society in bringing more bluegrass music to Northern California.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society Accepts Donations To Support Bluegrass Music

The Northern California Bluegrass Society, a California Not-For-Profit Corporation also known as the Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society, accepts donations, which may be tax deductible.

2019 Sonoma State University Bluegrass Festival To Be Held On Sunday July 21 In Rohnert Park

The 2019 Sonoma State University Bluegrass Festival will be held at the Weill Hall & Lawn, Green Music Center, on the SSU campus in Rohnert Park. on Sunday, July 21.

Both elegant indoor and relaxed outdoor seating will be available at the event. The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes the festival to our area.

The Dawg Trio and The Steep Canyon Rangers on the bill. A Craft Beer Festival with more bluegrass music will lead into the main festival at the same location.

Wildcat Mountain Ramblers Added To Line-Up For August 8-11 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival

The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers (Los Gatos) have been added to the main stage line-up for the 26th Annual NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, set for August 8-11, 2019 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos (7 miles south of Hollister).

The festival is presented by the Northern California Bluegrass Society and benefits that organization’s year-around work for bluegrass music in our area.

The Summit House To Present The Goat Hill Girls On Thursday, June 6 In The Santa Cruz Mountains

The Summit House Thursday Bluegrass Series will present The Goat Hill Girls on June 6. The showtime is 6:00-8:30pm. Good food and drink will be served.

The Summit House Beer Garden & Grill, high in the Santa Cruz Mountains (and on Highway 17 6 miles south of Los Gatos) presents the FREE weekly shows, which are welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

Future Shows: June 13 — The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers. June 20 — Blue Summit.

NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund Is Now Accepting Donations

The Northern California Bluegrass Society Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund is now accepting donations for deserving students attending the Walker Creek Fall Music Camp set for November 1-4, 2019.

NCBS is a Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) Organization that manages the scholarship fund and makes the awards.

The camp is run each spring and fall by Ingrid Noyes at the Walker Creek Ranch, Petaluma.
