The 31st annual gathering will be held Thursday-Sunday August 7-10 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society supports local bluegrass music. The Society is a California Not-For-Profit Corporation with Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) status that is also known as the Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society.

The gathering will be presented by the Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company, 935 Washington Street in San Carlos. Fine beer will be served and a variety of food trucks will be there. There will be space for jamming. The stage schedule has been announced:
The Deadline for Main Stage Band Applications for the 2025 NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is December 31, 2024. Only California-based bands are eligible to play on this stage. Other GOF stages will be booked at a later date.
The beloved 31st annual gathering of California musicians and their friends will be held August 7-10 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.

The Workshop Teacher Application for the 2025 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is available on this website. Applications are due on March 30, 2025.
The festival runs August 7-10, with workshops held on Friday & Saturday, August 8 & 9.
The GOF is a benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society and will be held at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.

Band Applications (Main Stage) are DUE by December 31, 2024. California-based bands are encouraged to apply. The other stages will be booked at a later date.
