New Dates For The 13th Annual Riverdance Farms Pick & Gather Festival In Livingston On Memorial Day Weekend
TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society will welcome the 13th AnnualĀ Pick & Gather Festival presented byĀ Riverdance Farms inĀ Livingston (near Merced) onĀ Saturday & Sunday, May 27-28, 2017.
(NOTE NEW DATES: The 2017 event was originally set for the preceding weekend, but has been moved to Memorial Day weekend due to the rainy late winter and early spring weather.)
The event will feature bluegrass and other live music, camping, fruit in season for picking, good food and information about organic farming, water quality information, and swimming in the pleasant Merced River.
The Brookdale Bluegrass Band will headline.

The final two Redwood Bluegrass Associates concerts are set for March & April at the Masonic Hall, 890 Church Street in Mounain View.

The line-up has been announced for the Saturday, March 18, 2017 Stanley Sing at La Promenade Cafe in San Francisco. The 3:00-10:00pm program is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
Bluegrass musicians will take turns performing favorite songs of The Stanley Brothers and related bands.
The performers: Windy Hill (Thomas Wille, Ryan Breen), Eric Embry, The Hossettes (Angela Personini, Hailey Pexton, Karen Wilhoyte), Josh Tharp (of Keith Littleās Band), High Country (Larry Cohea, Jim Mintun), Keystone Crossing (Larry Carlin, Claudia Hampe), Bernal Hillbillies (Larry Chung, Bill Foss, Martha Hawthorne, Scot Brenton, Amy Scher), Ted Kuster, Town Howlers (John McKelvy), Chris Smith (The Mighty Crows), Chuck and Jeanieās Country Round Up, Skillet Licorice (Matt Knoth, Elise Engelberg), Tom Diamont, and Paul Shelasky (house fiddler).

Redwood Bluegrass Associates will present John Reischman & The Jaybirds onĀ Saturday, March 18. The show will be held at theĀ Masonic Hall, 890 Church Street, Mountain View. Concert doors will open atĀ 7:00pm and the show will begin atĀ 7:30pm.
A freeĀ 5:00pm jam hosted byĀ The Handsome Ladies and open to all players will begin the evening of bluegrass.
