Health Planning Advisory: Vaccine Requirements Will Be In Effect For 2022 Bluegrass Events

Vaccine Requirements are becoming the policy at most bluegrass events and will be universal by next season. This fall is the time for bluegrass fans to get their Covid Vaccine Status in order to be ready for upcoming festivals and other events as live bluegrass music returns in full force during 2022.

Due to the spread of the highly-contagious Delta Variant of the Covid 19 Virus, bluegrass fans are increasingly unwilling to attend bluegrass events where unvaccinated persons are also permitted to attend. On a forward-going basis, proof of vaccine status will likely be required. All of the Covid 19 Vaccines (Shots 1 & 2) are now FREE and WIDELY AVAILABLE for everyone over age 12. These shots have saved the lives of many people across the US and around the world.

Free booster shots are here or on the way to extend the usefulness of these initial shots. Shots will also soon be ready for almost all children. The initial vaccine process requires one to two months to complete, with additional time required to complete a booster shot when needed, so advance planning is advised if you wish to attend any live, in-person bluegrass music events in the future.

Planning Is Underway For 2022 Northern California Bluegrass Society Events

The Northern California Bluegrass Society is planning a full schedule of events for 2022. The widespread availability of Coronavirus Vaccines is expected to make in-person bluegrass music gatherings safe and fun once again.

In the meantime, NCBS has cancelled all events for the remainder of this year out of concern for the safety of our members.

Now is the time for bluegrass fans to get their vaccine status updated, so everyone will be ready for the upcoming bluegrass season.
