The FREE weekly series is presented by theĀ Summit House and welcomed by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society.Ā TheĀ Summit House, purveyor of fine food and drink, is located at 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, Los Gatos (six miles south ofĀ Los Gatos) onĀ Highway 17.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society has announced the band line-up for the FREE Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair at the Duck Pond Stage in San Lorenzo Park, next to the courthouse in Santa Cruz.
The Bands: AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Bean Creek, Brookdale Bluegrass Band, The Down Beets, Harmony Grits, and Henry & Ella Warde.
This year’s event will be held on SUNDAY, May 7 (note new date) from Noon to 6:00pm.
TheĀ Brookdale Bluegrass Spring Festival will be held at its new home at theĀ Mt. Cross Camp inĀ Felton onĀ March 10-12, 2017.
The festival is welcomed by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society and presented byĀ Brookdale Bluegrass.

TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society Information Booth will be at events all during theĀ 2017 Live Music Season inĀ Northern California.
The booth will have flyers and sage advice aboutĀ ALL area festivals, concerts, and workshops (including those events presented by the NCBS itself). The first festival outing for the 2017 season will be the March 10-12 Brookdale Bluegrass Spring Festival in Felton. The booth will appear at approximately 25 events this year (about every two weeks or so).
The service is FREE to both music presenters and music fans.

TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society will welcome the 13th AnnualĀ Pick & Gather Festival presented byĀ Riverdance Farms inĀ Livingston (near Merced) onĀ Saturday & Sunday, May 27-28, 2017.
(NOTE NEW DATES: The 2017 event was originally set for the preceding weekend, but has been moved to Memorial Day weekend due to the rainy late winter and early spring weather.)
The event will feature bluegrass and other live music, camping, fruit in season for picking, good food and information about organic farming, water quality information, and swimming in the pleasant Merced River.
The Brookdale Bluegrass Band will headline.

The FREE afternoon concert inĀ San Lorenzo Park will be held at theĀ Duck Pond Stage. The fairĀ has ben held since 1986 and is the oldest NCBS/SCBS event.

The final two Redwood Bluegrass Associates concerts are set for March & April at the Masonic Hall, 890 Church Street in Mounain View.
