TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society will entertain the volunteers and bands at all Society events and projects held over the past yearĀ at the famedĀ NCBS Volunteer Thank You Party, set forĀ Saturday, October 14 at an undisclosed location.

Mountain Music Festival Set For Sunday, October 1 At Prusch Park In San Jose
TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes the FREEĀ Mountain Music Festival to be held 10:00am-5:00pm onĀ Sunday, October 1, 2017.
The family-friendly festival is presented by theĀ Prusch Farm Park Foundation and theĀ City Of San Jose.
The festival will be held at the lovely Emma Prusch Farm Park, located near the intersection of freeways 101, 280 and 680 atĀ 647 South King Road (at Story Road) in southern centralĀ San Jose.
This is the only bluegrass festival held in San Jose.
Bands: Bean Creek, The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers,Ā The Goat Hills Girls, Sidesaddle & Co, Radio Rail, Banjo Twins, & The Santa Clara Valley Fiddlers Association.

The Mountain Music Festival,Ā presented by theĀ Emma Prusch Park FoundationĀ &Ā The City of San Jose, will be held onĀ Sunday, October 1, 2017.
The FREE 10:00am-5:00pm event is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
Californians Head For Raleigh & The 2017 IBMA World Of Bluegrass This Week
The International Bluegrass Music Association World Of Bluegrass Convention will run September 26-30, 2017 in Raleigh, NC.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society is a longtime organizational member of the IBMA.
Many Northern California bluegrass musicians and leaders will play prominent roles at the convention and others will be enjoying the scene.
Most attendees from the West Coast plan their trip months in advance. If you are not attending this year, now is a good time to begin considering a trip to the convention in September 2018.

AJ Lee & Blue Summit will perform onĀ September 21. Good food & drink will be available during the FREE show and the view of theĀ Santa Cruz Mountains is endless.
