NCBS Congratulates Kali Nowakowski And The Rest Of The IBMA Leadership Bluegrass Class Of 2019

Congratulations to Kali Nowakowski of Straight Up Strings By Siminoff, Atascadero, California and the rest of the International Bluegrass Music Association Leadership Bluegrass Class Of 2019. The Northern California Bluegrass Society is a longtime organizational member of the IBMA.

The 2019 class will meet next March in Nashville. NCBS Members are encouraged to consider applying for the 2020 class before the October 31, 2019 deadline. Applications will be available on the IBMA Website in September.

FREE 14th Annual Holiday Hootenanny Is This Friday December 14 In San Carlos

The Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company will present the FREE 14th Annual Holiday Hootenanny this Friday, December 14 at the brewery, 935 Washington Street, San Carlos. The 5:00pm show will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018.

FREE Bluegrass On Broadway Festival Coming To Redwood City January 25-27 2019

The FREE Bluegrass On Broadway Festival, presented by the Northern California Bluegrass Society with principal financial support from the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission, will come to Redwood City January 25-27, 2019.

The 12th Annual festival will include the Northern California Bluegrass Awards Show at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center Theatre on Saturday, January 26, 2019.

Save The Date: 26th Annual NCBS GOF Bluegrass Festival Is August 8-11 — Bands Are Encouraged To Apply

Save The Date: The NCBS 26th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival will be held August 8-11 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos. The gathering is a showcase of top California bluegrass bands and a benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

Apply: Bands wishing to play on the main stage are encouraged to apply by December 31, 2018.
