Wildcat Mountain Ramblers To Play Thursday Bluegrass Series At The Summit House In The Santa Cruz Mountains

The Northern California Bluegrass Society-welcomedĀ Summit House Thursday Bluegrass Series will continue on March 14 with the Wildcat Mountain Ramblers. The FREE music programs will run 6:00-8:30pm. Good food and drink will be served while the band performs.

Coming March 21: Blue Summit.Ā The weekly series is presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill at the top of Highway 17Ā high in the Santa Cruz MountainsĀ (6 miles south of Los Gatos). Thanks for your support!

Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair To Be Held On Sunday May 5 At The Duck Pond Stage

TheĀ Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019, Noon-6:00pm.

Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society will present thisĀ FREE Rite Of Spring at the Duck Pond StageĀ inĀ San Lorenzo Park, near the courthouse in Santa Cruz.

BanjerDan Mazer Set For Spring Brookdale Bluegrass Festival In Tres Pinos April 19-21

BanjerDan MazerĀ is set for the Spring 2019 Brookdale Bluegrass Festival, to be held April 19-21, 2019 at the San Benito County Historical Park inĀ Tres Pinos (on Easter Weekend).Ā The festival is presented by Brookdale Bluegrass and has been welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society since the first event was held in 1998.

NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund Assists Students Who Need Financial Help

TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund assists students who need financial help in order to attend the Walker Creek Spring 2019 Music Camp.

The Society is now collecting donations to fund the scholarships. NCBS is a Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) Organization that manages the fund and makes the awards.

The camp will be run by Ingrid Noyes at the Walker Creek Ranch nearĀ PetalumaĀ the weekend of April 11-14.

Annual Northern California Bluegrass Society Benefit Festival Coming In August

The annual benefit festival to support Northern California Bluegrass Society projects throughout the year in coming in August. TheĀ Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass FestivalĀ will be heldĀ Thursday-Sunday, August 8-11, 2019.

The 26th annual gathering of California bluegrass musicians and their fans will be held at the San Benito County Historical Park inĀ Tres PinosĀ (7 miles south of Hollister).

 

Peter Rowan To Perform At 2019 Brookdale Bluegrass Festival April 19-21 In Tres Pinos

Peter Rowan will perform at the Spring 2019 Brookdale Bluegrass Festival, set for the San Benito County Historical Park inĀ Tres Pinos on Easter Weekend, April 19-21. The event location is 7 miles south of Hollister.

The festival is presented by Brookdale BluegrassĀ and welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
