NCBS Member & Volunteer Joanne Tanner Also Supports Classical Music Fundraiser March 2

NCBS Members love all kinds of music. That certainly applies to fiddle/viola player Joanne Tanner. This hard-working volunteer is helping to organize fundraisers for both the Northern California Bluegrass Society (for the Bluegrass Fair & Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival) and Music In May (to support Santa Cruz-area concerts in May and programs for troubled youth all year long).

Tanner is a former member of the New York City Opera Company Orchestra and is now with the new Santa Cruz bluegrass band The Open Heartstrings.

Coming on March 2 is the Music & Auction For Music In May. There will be many fine auction and drawing & raffle prizes at this afternoon event besides your opportunity to score a pair of Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival tickets!

The Saturday, March 2, 2:00-4:30pm gathering will be held at the Resurrection Church, 7600 Soquel Drive in Aptos.

Look for Music in May concert tickets in the bluegrass fair and GOF raffles coming this spring and summer.
