The Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair Is A Rite Of Spring And Set For Sunday, May 6

The Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society has announced that the Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair will be held at the Duck Pond Stage in San Lorenzo Park, next to the courthouse in downtown Santa Cruz.

The FREE afternoon of music in the park has been a Rite Of Spring since 1986 and is set for SUNDAY, May 6, 2018. (Note new date.)

Northern California Bluegrass Society Members will enjoy a big month of bluegrass music in May, 2018:

Riverdance Farms To Host Pick & Gather Festival On Memorial Day Weekend In Livingston

Riverdance Farms will host the Pick & Gather Festival on Memorial Day Weekend in Livingston (near Merced).

The May 26-28 festival will feature bluegrass & more, plus blueberries, cherries, and strawberries for the picking, while camping is available.

The event is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

Heathen Hill Set To Play At The Summit House Thursday Bluegrass Series On March 22

Heathen Hill (Santa Cruz) is set to play the FREE Thursday Bluegrass Series at The Summit House at the top of Highway 17 on March 22.

The bluegrass music venue in the Santa Cruz Mountains is 6 miles south of Los Gatos and 9 miles north of Scott’s Valley.

The music will run from 6:00-8:30pm. The show is presented by The Summit House Beer Garden & Grill and welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

Good food and drink will be served and the mountaintop views are astounding.

NCBS Now Accepting NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund Donations For April 12-15 Spring Camp

The Northern California Bluegrass Society is now collecting donations for the NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund to assist students who need financial help for the Spring camp.

NCBS will make the awards soon, but there is still time for donations to benefit deserving campers at the April 12-15, 2018 camp, which is run by Ingrid Noyes at the Walker Creek Ranch near Petaluma.
