The FREE Summit House Thursday Bluegrass Series will present The Goat Hill Girls on May 3 from 6:00-8:30pm.

The view at the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill (top of Highway 17 8 miles south of Los Gatos) is amazing and good food and drink is served.

The ongoing weekly gathering is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

Twenty-Fifth Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival Set For August 9-12 In Tres Pinos

The Twenty-Fifth Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival will be held at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos (7 miles south of Hollister) for the third time on August 9-12, 2018.

The festival benefiting the year-round work of the Northern California Bluegrass Society was started in 1994. NCBS uses the proceeds to further bluegrass music in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Monterey Bay Area and throughout Northern California.

Free RV & tent camping is included in multi-day tickets. There will be jamming, children’s activities, open mike stage, shade over the audience area, food & drink, late night shows, a raffle, the annual NCBS elections, and more.

NCBS To Welcome The Pick & Gather Festival At Riverdance Farms In Livingston

The Northern California Bluegrass Society will welcome the 14th Annual Pick & Gather Festival, set for May 26-28 in Livingston (near Merced).

The Memorial Day Weekend farm-to-table and bluegrass music (and beyond) festival will be presented by Riverdance Farms and will feature a wide variety of music along with the chance to pick your own blueberries, cherries, and strawberries. Camping in the walnut orchard is available, while swimming and other Merced River activities will round out the weekend.

AJ Lee & Jesse Fichman will perform at the Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair on SUNDAY, May 6, 2018.

The relaxed afternoon concert in the park will also feature performances by The Naked Bootleggers, The Down Beets, The Juncos, The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers, and more.

The Duck Pond Stage in San Lorenzo Park is the venue for the Noon-6:00pm program.

The FREE bluegrass fair is presented by the Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society. The longest-running bluegrass society gathering has been held on the first weekend in May since 1986.

Mountain Drive To Make Rare Public Appearance This Thursday At The Summit House

Boulder Creek’s Mountain Drive will make a rare public appearance to play their trademark traditional bluegrass music at the FREE Thursday Bluegrass Series held at The Summit House (6 miles south of Los Gatos, on Highway 17) on April 26 from 6:00-8:30pm.

The view is always amazing and good food and drink will be served. The FREE weekly performance is presented by The Summit House Beer Garden & Grill and welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
