The cheapest tickets for the 26th annual gathering can now be purchased on this website or by mail. The Discount Advance Ticket Deadline is July 22. NCBS Members will receive a Deep Discount on their advance purchase, while Non-Members will receive a Discount.
The Steep Canyon Rangers and The Dawg Trio will perform at the 2019 Sonoma State University Bluegrass Festival to be held on Sunday, July 21 at the Weill Hall & Lawn, Green Music Center, on the SSU campus in Rohnert Park. Both indoor and outdoor seating will be available.
The event is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society. The annual Craft Beer Festival (with additional bluegrass music) will lead into the main festival at the same location.
The 2019 Pick & Gather Festival at Riverdance Farms, Livingston, near Merced, will take place June 1-2. Note that the new festival dates will be on the weekend after Memorial Day. The relaxed farm, river and music gathering will feature bluegrass (and other) music, camping, information about farm-to-table food, water quality, organic farming, fruit-picking, swimming in the Merced River and other rural activities. The Brookdale Bluegrass Band will headline.
The annual event is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

This weekend’s 4th AnnualBerkeley Bluegrass Festival begins on Thursday, May 16 and will run through Sunday, May 19.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society will welcome the event, which is presented by the Freight & Salvage and features four evenings of concerts with other events, including daytime workshops on both Saturday and Sunday. The Northern California Bluegrass Society Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund is now accepting donations for deserving students attending the Walker Creek Fall Music Camp near Petaluma, set for November 1-4, 2019.
NCBS is a Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) Organization that manages the scholarship fund and makes the awards.
The camp is run each spring and fall by Ingrid Noyes at the Walker Creek Ranch. Information:Walker Creek Music Camp.
