The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers (Los Gatos) have been added to the main stage line-up for the 26th Annual NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, set for August 8-11, 2019 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos (7 miles south of Hollister).
The festival is presented by the Northern California Bluegrass Society and benefits that organization’s year-around work for bluegrass music in our area.

The Summit House Thursday Bluegrass Series will present The Goat Hill Girls on June 6. The showtime is 6:00-8:30pm. Good food and drink will be served.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund is now accepting donations for deserving students attending the Walker Creek Fall Music Camp set for November 1-4, 2019.
NCBS is a Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) Organization that manages the scholarship fund and makes the awards.
The camp is run each spring and fall by Ingrid Noyes at the Walker Creek Ranch, Petaluma.

The Sonoma State University Bluegrass Festival will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Weill Hall & Lawn, Green Music Center, on the SSU campus in Rohnert Park. Both indoor and outdoor seating will be available.
The Steep Canyon Rangers and The Dawg Trio will perform at the 4th annual event, which is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society. The separately-ticketed annual Craft Beer Festival (with additional bluegrass music) will be held before the main festival at the same location.

Saturday music at the Pick & Gather Festival at Riverdance Farms near Merced will run 9:30am-10:00pm, with more music to follow on Sunday. The Brookdale Bluegrass Band will perform on Saturday evening.
The NCBS-welcomed festival is this weekend, June 1-2. The farm is at 12230 Livingston-Cressy Road, Livingston.
The unique music, farm, & river gathering is presented by Riverdance and will feature bluegrass and other music, camping, information about farm-to-table food, water quality, organic farming, fruit-picking, swimming in the Merced River and other farm fun.
