Brookdale Lodge To Officially Reopen With Bluegrass Music On October 24

The Brookdale Lodge, original home of the Brookdale Bluegrass Festival, will officially reopen on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 5:00pm. The Brookdale Bluegrass Band led by Eric Burman will provide music for the ceremony. The public is invited. Local dignitaries will join the owners to enjoy the moment.

The historic Highway 9 establishment (between Boulder Creek and Ben Lomond) plans to once again welcome bluegrass festivals, but not for several years. Only the hotel rooms, lobby and bar will open this week. The music performance space and the famed Brook Room Restaurant are still works in progress. However, bands (including bluegrass) will soon appear in the renovated bar. More details will be announced soon.
