Brookdale Bluegrass Announces Line Up For The April 17-19 Brookdale Festival In Tres Pinos

Brookdale Bluegrass has announced the line-up for the Brookdale Bluegrass and American Roots Music Festival, April 17-19, 2020 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos. The event is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

Bands: Cactus Bob & The Prairie Flower, Sidesaddle and Co, David Holidiloff, The Stoney Mountain Ramblers, The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers, The Poor Carters, Brookdale Bluegrass Band, Banjer Dan, Tina Louise Barr, Laura Lind and The Open Hearts Band.

NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund Collecting Donations For April 16-19 Spring Session

TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass SocietyĀ is now collecting donations for theĀ NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund. NCBS/SCBSĀ is aĀ Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) Organization.

The NCBS Walker Creek Scholarship Fund Committee awards scholarships twice each year to assist deserving students. The next round of scholarships will benefit attendees at the April 16-19, 2020 spring session.

Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair Is A Rite Of Spring Set For May 3 At The Duck Pond In San Lorenzo Park

TheĀ Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at the Duck Pond StageĀ inĀ San Lorenzo Park, near the courthouse in Santa Cruz.Ā The long-running event is presented by the Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society.Ā The FREE afternoon concert is a Rite of Spring for area bluegrass fans.

 

Riverdance Farms To Present Late Spring Pick & Gather Festival At Livingston Near Merced

TheĀ 2020 Pick & Gather Festival will take place in late May or early June. The exact dates will be announced soon.

The relaxed farm, river and music gathering will feature bluegrass (and other) music, camping, information about farm-to-table food, water quality, organic farming, fruit-picking, swimming in the Merced River and other rural activities.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes this event, which is presented by Riverdance Farms, LivingstonĀ (near Merced).

27th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival In Tres Pinos Will Be Held August 6-9

TheĀ Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, a benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society, is a fun weekend of performances by top California bluegrass bandsĀ at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.

The 27th annual gathering of friends and family will be held August 6-9, 2020.
