Two 2025 GOF Musician Applications Now Available On NCBS Website

The deadline for Main Stage Band Applications for the 2025 NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is December 31, 2024. Only California-based bands are eligible to play on this stage. Other GOF stages will be booked at a later date.

The deadline for Workshop Teacher Applications to host a workshop at the 2025 festival is March 30, 2025.

The 31st annual gathering of California musicians and their friends will be August 7-10 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.

 

 

2024 Holiday Hootenanny Is FREE, Set For Friday December 13 In San Carlos

The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes the FREE 19th Annual Holiday Hootenanny on Friday, December 13 at 4:00pm. This has become a fun and enduring Bay Area bluegrass tradition! Thanks to Scott Dailey for booking this event.

The gathering will be presented by the Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company, 935 Washington Street in San Carlos. Fine beer will be served and a variety of food trucks will be there. There will be space for jamming.

You can host a workshop at next summer’s GOF festival!

The Workshop Teacher Application for the 2025 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is available on this website. Applications are due on March 30, 2025.

The festival runs August 7-10, with workshops held on Friday & Saturday, August 8 & 9.

The GOF is a benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society and will be held at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.

FREE Annual Holiday Hootenanny Is This Friday Evening In San Carlos

The FREE 19th Annual Holiday Hootenanny is set for this Friday, December 13 at 4:00pm.

The NCBS welcomes this annual gathering which be presented by the Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company, 935 Washington Street in San Carlos. Fine beer will be served and a variety of food trucks will be there. There will be two stages plus space for jamming.

This service is for both theft victims and used instrument buyers. The FREE page is searchable, and links can be added to connect additional information about the instrument. Please post again when the instrument is recovered.
