Act Before December 31, 2020 To Make A Tax-Deductible Donation To NCBS/SCBS

You can donate up to $300 to the Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society and save on taxes, even if you do not itemize. The CARES Act added a new, one-year-only $300 Charitable Contribution Deduction for 2020.

This is an Above-The-Line deduction, so you can still write off up to $300 in cash donations on your tax return when you file next spring. Normally, you would have to itemize deductions to write off charitable giving when you file your taxes. This opportunity will only exist for 2020 donations, so Act Before December 31, 2020.

Thanks for your support for local bluegrass music in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Monterey Bay Area, and all of Northern California! (Tax ID: 94-2907716.)
