Wildcat Mountain Ramblers Set For Saturday March 13 At The Summit House

The NCBS-Welcomed Bluegrass Series at the Summit House will stage The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers in a FREE show this SATURDAY AFTERNOON, March 13, 2:00-4:00pm.

The top of Highway 17 in the Santa Cruz Mountains is where live bluegrass is presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill. With Coronavirus Restrictions now loosened by the state, the series happens every Saturday afternoon. This show with limited seating is at 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, 6 miles south of Los Gatos. The Summit House will offer food and drinks.

IBMA Leadership Bluegrass FREE Thursday Program Is The Music Modernization Act

The FREE Leadership Bluegrass Online Series: Navigating the Digital Jungle will continue on Thursday, March 11 at 10:00am Pacific Time. This week’s topic is The Music Modernization Act: Where Are We Today? with Bart Herbison, Executive Director of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).
Following the presentation, the bluegrass band The Often Herd will perform. The series is FREE and open to the public; no registration required. Livestreams will take place on IBMA’s Facebook page each Thursday in March at 10:00pm Pacific Time. The FREE Leadership Bluegrass Online Series: Navigating the Digital Jungle will begin on Thursday, March 4 at 10:00am Pacific Time. The presenters for the opening discussion, The Show Must Go On: Producing Events in Uncertain Times, will include Lee Stivers (LB Class of 2016), Joe Lurgio, Patrice O’Neill (LB Class of 2016), and Ko Cha’ Ta “Seth” Young. Following the panel, the Korean bluegrass band Country Gongbang will perform.
