NCBS Is Now Collecting Scholarship Funds For The Walker Creek Music Camp
TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass SocietyĀ is now collecting donations for theĀ NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund.Ā NCBS/SCBSĀ is aĀ Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) Organization.
The NCBS Walker Creek Scholarship Fund CommitteeĀ awards scholarships twice each year to assist deserving students. The next round of scholarships will benefit attendees at theĀ April 13-16, 2023Ā spring session.

San Benito County Historical Park Escapes Significant Storm Damage, Needs Clean-Up
The San Benito County Historical Park has (so far) escaped significant storm damage despite high water in the creek next to Highway 25 at the front of the park. The rain will continue for the next week. Clean-up at the park will take some time.
The park is the venue for the NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, held each August.

Bluegrass Venue Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company In San Carlos Damaged By Flooding
The Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company in San Carlos has been damaged by flooding from the recent rains and is closed for repairs. The venue has been used each December for the past decade for the NCBS-welcomed Holiday Hootenanny show. The repairs are expected to take several months.
