The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes the FREE Mountain Music Festival to be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017.

The second-year, family-friendly festival is presented by the Prusch Farm Park Foundation and the City Of San Jose.

Emma Prusch Farm Park,, donated to the city by farmer Emma Prusch, is located near the intersection of freeways 101, 280 and 680 at 647 South King Road in San Jose.

The Bands: Bean Creek, The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers, The Goat Hills Girls, Sidesaddle & Co, Radio Rail, Banjo Twins, & The Santa Clara Valley Fiddlers Association. Click here for the Performance Schedule.

The Thursday Bluegrass Series at the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill at the top of Highway 17 will present The Goat Hill Girls in performance on September 7.

The 6:00-8:30pm music program is presented by the The Summit House and welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

The place will serve good drink and good food during the performance and the view is endless.

The famed music and dining venue high in the Santa Cruz Mountains is 6 miles south of Los Gatos at 23123 Santa Cruz Highway.

The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers will follow on Thursday, September 14.

Other bands will appear every Thursday evening in this FREE series.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society will honor the volunteers and bands over the past year at Society events and projects at the NCBS Volunteer Thank You Party, set for Saturday, October 14 at an undisclosed location.
