The FREE 2019 Holiday Hootenany will be presented by the Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company, 935 Washington Street, San Carlos on Friday, December 13. Doors will open at 4:00pm and music begins at 5:00pm with excellent craft beer, root beer, and plenty of tasty food truck offerings from Off The Grid available.

Donations Now Being Accepted For NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund

The Northern California Bluegrass Society is now collecting donations for the NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund for the camp’s spring session, set for April 16-19, 2020. Send donations to: Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society, PO Box 390846, Mountain View, CA 94039-0846. Donations may be tax-advantaged. NCBS/SCBS is a Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) Organization.

The NCBS Walker Creek Scholarship Fund Committee awards scholarships twice each year to assist deserving students.

No December Brookdale Brookdale Festival This Year; Spring Festival Set For April 17-19 2020

There will be no Winter Brookdale Bluegrass Festival in December 2019, but the Spring 2020 event has already been announced. The Spring Brookdale Bluegrass Festival has been set for April 17-19 in the Dance Hall and Saloon at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.

The popular indoor festivals have been presented by Brookdale Bluegrass and welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society since 1998.
