US Postal Service To Issue Stamp Honoring Bluegrass Music On March 15
The United States Postal Service will issue a stamp honoring Bluegrass Music on March 15, 2024 at the Owensboro, KY Post Office. The forever stamps (but not the collectible first day of issue mailing piece) will be for first class postage and will be available at post offices nationwide.
Jack Tuttle’s Gryphon Trio To Join Kathy Kallick Band In February 3 Concert
The Kathy Kallick Band and Jack Tuttle’s Gryphon Trio will perform in concert on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Palo Alto Unitarian Universalist Church. The concert is sponsored by the Northern California Bluegrass Society. with the newly-organized Peninsula Bluegrass. The KKB will debut its new album.
Many of the volunteers involved in this event previously helped with the now-dissolved Redwood Bluegrass Associates.

Frankly Bluegrass Music Festival Will Be Held October 9-13 At Amador County Fairgrounds In Plymouth
The Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth, site of several bluegrass festivals over the past 40 years, will have a new festival October 9-13, 2024. The Frankly Bluegrass Music Festival will honor the late Frank Solivan, Sr. and will involve members of the Solivan family. The retired promotor of the last Plymouth festival, Larry Baker, is consulting with the new event. More details will be announced soon.

The Brookdale Bluegrass Festival presented by the Brookdale Lodge and booked by Eric Burman, is set for March 15-17, 2024 at the Brookdale Lodge. NCBS has welcomed this event since 2000.
Diana Donnelly To Perform With Sidesaddle & Co At Sam’s BBQ January 17
Former band member Diana Donnelly will join Sidesaddle & Co (was “Sidesaddle” back in her day) at Sam’s BBQ at 6:00pm on Wednesday, January 17 for a reunion performance.
