TheĀ 27th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival OnlineĀ took place on August 8, 2020.
The line-up included AJ Lee & Blue Summit,Ā Goat Hill Girls,Ā Brookdale Bluegrass Band andĀ Mike Fisher & Joanne Tanner.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society presented the virtual show that replaced the in-person festival normally held at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.Ā

There is a way for students/fans to support area musicians during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Northern California Bluegrass Musicians are listed in the NCBS DirectoryĀ to giveĀ Online Lessons.
The directory is a FREE service of the Northern California Bluegrass Society.Ā Interested students can check the directory and arrange ONLINE LESSONS with their favorite musicians (the price is between teacher and student).

The new Covid 19 rules effective today shutting down many Bay Area activities have ended live music. The new rules include Santa Cruz County, the last jurisdiction to permit live outdoor music.
There will be no more Saturday bluegrass performances at the Summit House Beer Garden and Grill. This establishment is now open for take-out food service only.
