Chris Joslin, the executive director of the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in Owensboro, KY and its annual ROMP Festival is stepping down after nine years. Under his leadership, the longstanding bluegrass museum changed its name to the Hall of Fame designation and grew and stabilized its financial position. The 2024 June ROMP event drew 24,500 attendees.
The institution is affiliated with the International Bluegrass Music Association. NCBS is a longtime organizational member of the IBMA.
Joslin will become the development director at the Franklin, TN-based Mission Lazarus which does faith-based work in Haiti and Honduras.
