Five Week Reminder: The deadline for Tax-Deductible Contributions for this year is December 31, 2023. The Northern California Bluegrass Society can be a part of your year-end tax planning as it accepts donations that may be tax-advantaged (depending on your tax status) to support Local Bluegrass Music in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Monterey Bay Area, and all of Northern California.
The Society is a California Not-For-Profit Corporation with Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) status that is also known as the Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society. The NCBS/SCBS Tax ID No. is 94-2907716.

2024 Main Stage GOF Band Application Will Be On This Website On December 1 — Due December 31
The NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival Band Committee will have the Main Stage Band Application for the 2024 festival ready on this website on DECEMBER 1, 2023. Applications will be DUE ON DECEMBER 31, 2023.
The Historic 30th festival will be held August 8-11, 2024 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.
NCBS Welcomes The FREE Holiday Hootenanny To San Carlos On December 8
NCBS welcomes the FREE 18th Annual Holiday Hootenanny on Friday, December 8. The gathering will be presented by the Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company, 935 Washington Street in San Carlos. Our own Scott Dailey hosts this fun bluegrass evening. Fine beer will be served. A variety of food trucks will be there. There will be space for jamming.
