Redwood Bluegrass Associates Concerts In First Quarter Of 2017 Set For Mountain View
Redwood Bluegrass Associates has set three Saturday evening concerts for the first quarter of 2017 at the Masonic Hall in Mountan View. They are:
January 21 āĀ Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band
February 18 āĀ Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley
March 18 āĀ John Reischman & The Jaybirds
This is the final season in the 25-year run of these high-quality concerts, all welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

Hidden Still Set To Perform This Thursday December 22 At The Summit House

The bluegrass bandĀ Hidden Still is set to perform atĀ TheĀ Summit House at the top ofĀ Highway 17, 6 miles south ofĀ Los Gatos, onĀ Thursday, December 22, 2016.
The popular FREE bluegrass series began in January and is the home of bluegrass music in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Music will runĀ 6:00-8:30pm in a program welcomed by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society and presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill, 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, Los Gatos 95033.

Excellent food and drink will be served during the performance and the view will be endless for early arrivals.

Heathen Hill Set For This Week For Thursday Bluegrass Series At Summit House Near Los Gatos

The FREEĀ Summit House Thursday Bluegrass Series continues this week with the Santa Cruz bandĀ Heathen Hill. The lovelyĀ Santa Cruz Mountains views await us at the top of Highway 17, six miles south ofĀ Los Gatos.
The top quality weekly series runs every Thursday evening fromĀ 6:00pm to 8:30pm at theĀ Summit House Beer Garden & Grill.
The shows are presented by the Summit House and welcomed by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society. Good food and drink will be served. This is a nice place for music. Thanks toĀ Robert Cornelius for making the shows happen.
NCBS Announces 2017 Lifetime Achievement Awards Honoring Four Longtime Bluegrass Sound Engineers
The Northern California Bluegrass Society has announced that four bluegrass sound engineers will be presented with Lifetime Achievement Awards on January 28, 2017.
The honorees are: Paul Knight, David Nielsen, Mike Russell, & Joe Weed.
The Northern California Bluegrass Awards Show & Concert will be held as part of the 10th Annual NCBS Bluegrass On Broadway Festival in Redwood City.
The FREE festival is supported by a base grant from the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission and by other Redwood City-area businesses, organization, and individuals. BOB events will take place on Friday & Saturday, January 27 & 28 and on Monday, January 30.
Wildcat Mountain Ramblers & Stoney Mountain Ramblers To Appear Live December 12 On KKUP Monday Night Bluegrass
Host bands from two Northern California Bluegrass Society-welcomed events will perform liveĀ December 12 on Monday Night Bluegrass on KKUP Radio, 91.5FM in the South Bay & Monterey Bay Areas and Online.
The Stoney Mountain Ramblers (Menlo Park) host the annual Holiday Hootenanny at the Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company in San Carlos. The band will play on air and discuss the FREE 2016 multi-band gathering, set for this Friday evening, December 16.
The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers (Los Gatos) host the year-old Thursday Bluegrass Series at the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill near Los Gatos. The band will play live on air and discuss the FREE weekly performances featuring various bluegrass bands in the Santa Cruz Mountains.


The host of Monday Night Bluegrass is Mike Russell. Michael Hall will be on hand to interview the bands. The program will run 6:00-9:00pm.
