Old Belle To Perform On The Main Stage At The 24th Annual NCBS GOF Bluegrass Festival August 10-13

Old Belle (San Francisco) will take the Main Stage at theĀ 24th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival to be held Sunday-Thursday, August 10-13, 2017.

TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society will present this small, friendly, fun festival at the beautifulĀ San Benito County Historical Park inĀ Tres Pinos (7 miles south of Hollister and next door to Bolado Park). The event benefits NCBS projects and events that promote bluegrass in theĀ San Francisco Bay AreaĀ and theĀ Monterey Bay Area.

There will be plenty of tickets at the gate. Camping is free with all multi-day tickets.

Fall Donations For NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund Now Being Collected

NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund

TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund is collecting donations for theĀ Fall Camp, which will be heldĀ September 28-October 1, 2017 at theĀ Walker Creek Ranch nearĀ Petaluma.Ā Ingrid Noyes runs the camp.

TheĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization aka theĀ Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society, accepts donations and disburses scholarships. Donations to the fund are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Donors should consult their tax advisors. The Federal Tax ID No. is 94-2907716. Donors who do not need a tax deduction may donate money directly to the camp.

The famed Nate Jones & The Sloe Sippers are headed to theĀ 24th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival for the first time on the weekend ofĀ August 10-13, 2017.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society will present the fun, friendly showcase of top California bluegrass bands & musicians at the San Benito County Historical Park inĀ Tres Pinos (next door to the festival’s original home at Bolado Park).

Hidden Still Set For Summit House Bluegrass Series This Thursday Near Los Gatos

Hidden Still at The Summit House.

This week at theĀ Thursday Bluegrass Series at theĀ Summit House Beer Garden & Grill fine food and drink will be served, along with great bluegrass music by Hidden Still.

The FREEĀ 6:00-8:30pm music program is welomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

TheĀ Summit House is located atĀ 23123 Santa Cruz Highway,Ā six miles south ofĀ Los Gatos. Views of the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains are inlcuded with your meal.

The Honeysuckle Possums (Santa Barbara) will inaugurate the Saturday Late Night Show at the August 10-13 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival in Tres Pinos.

The exciting new event will be held in the Dance Hall in the village at the San Benito County Historical Park. The performance is free with festival admission.
