JULY

Sunday, July 10 — 2nd Annual Green Music Center Bluegrass Festival, Weill Hall & Lawn, Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park. (NCBS welcomed)

Sunday, July 24 — 2nd Foggy Mountain Bluegrass Festival, The Surf Spot, Pacifica. FREE. (NCBS welcomed)

Northern California Bluegrass Society Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival Is Set For August 11-14 In Tres Pinos

The Northern California Bluegrass Society Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is set for August 11-14, 2016 in Tres Pinos, 7 miles south of Hollister.

The new location for the 23rd event is next door to the festival’s home for the first 22 years, Bolado Park. Our new host is the San Benito County Historical Society, which runs the San Benito County Historical Park. This is a great place for the GOF!

The performance schedule has been announced for the second Foggy Mountain Bluegrass Festival at the Surf Spot Restaurant in Pacifica. The outdoor event was rescheduled from May.

The FREE festival is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

Early July Thursdays At The Summit House: Free Music With The Goat Hill Girls & The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers

The Goat Hill Girls (July 7) and The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers (July 14) will bring their music to the Summit House Thursday Bluegrass Series.

The FREE shows are presented every Thursday from 6:00-8:30pm by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill23123 Highway 17, 6 miles south of Los Gatos,

The popular series, which has been running since the beginning of 2016, is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

This place offers great music, tasty food and drink, and endless Santa Cruz Mountain views. It is a fine place to be as the sun sets on a Thursday.

Three Week Reminder: The deadline for purchasing Discount Advance Tickets to the August 11-14, 2016 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is Friday, July 22, 2016. Tickets are conveniently available online or by mail.

The 23-year-old festival, a benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society, will be held at the San Benito County Historical Park, (next to Bolado Park, 7 miles south of Hollister) in lovely Tres Pinos.
