The Thursday Bluegrass Series at the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill between Los Gatos and Santa Cruz is held every Thursday evening 6:00-8:30pm.
AJ Lee & Blue Summit will perform on September 21. Good food & drink will be available during the FREE show and the view of the Santa Cruz Mountains is endless.
The show is presented by the The Summit House and welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society. Robert Cornelius organizes the series.
On September 28, The Stoney Mountain Ramblers will appear to close out the month.

A FREE outdoor Bluegrass Jam Session open to all will be held Noon-2:00pm at the corner of Market and Castro Streets, hosted by The Beauty Operators. Calling all Bay Area pickers to come and join in!
The original SFBOT festival (with a 14-year run starting in 2000) was organized by a quasi-independent committee of the Northern California Bluegrass Society. The revival is a project of several area bluegrass organizations including the California Bluegrass Association, and is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
The NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund has awarded tuition assistance to help two young Northern California musicians attend the September 28-October 1 , 2017 camp near Petaluma.
The scholarships will assist a 12-year-old girl fiddler and a 20-year-old female banjo player to attend the camp.
Thanks to the generous donors and to the NCBS scholarship committee. The fund will soon begin collecting donations to help deserving students who want to attend the Spring camp, set for April.

On Friday, October 13, The Handsome Ladies will present a showcase of women songwriters and/or songs made famous by women, performed by a variety of singers and musicians backed by The Picks (the Handsome Ladies pick-up band).
The Handsome Ladies promote female participation in bluegrass music. This is a coed event and all genders are welcome.
The show will be held 7:00-10:00pm at the SOMA Streat Food Park, 428 11th Street, San Francisco.
