The 25th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival will present The Quitters at the August 9-12 gathering of the bluegrass community.
Although this will be the first time for this duo at the GOF, both Stevie Coyle and Glenn Houston have played the festival many times (as members of such bands as The Waybacks and Houston Jones) over the past quarter century.
The fun, relaxed showcase of top California bluegrass bands and fans will be held at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos (7 miles south of Hollister).

27strings will perform on Saturday, June 21, 2018 as part of the new Pub In The Park Bluegrass Concert Series in Redwood City. The FREE concert will be held at Red Morton Park and will run 11:00am-4:00pm.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes the bluegrass performances, which are presented by the Redwood City Department Of Parks Recreation & Community Services.
The monthly summer shows (running through September) are held in various neighborhood parks, and are centered around a bluegrass band and an inflatable pub that serves good beer throughout the afternoon. This is a great event for a picnic with your family and friends.

The Festival: The4th Annual Sonoma State Bluegrass & Craft Beer Festival will be held Sunday, July 15 at Weill Hall & Lawn at the beautiful on-campus Green Music Center of Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park. Gates open at Noon and showtime is 2:00pm.
Line-Up:Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Laurie Lewis & The Right Hands, & Phoebe Hunt & The Gatherers. (Fog Hollar will perform for the Craft Beer Tasting.)
Tickets:
Indoor $35-$55. Lawn $25. (A special $30 craft beer tasting ticket can be added.)

Directions:
Sonoma State University is in Rohnert Park, approximately one hour north of San Francisco on Highway 101.
Situated on the campus of Sonoma State University, the Green Music Center entrance is off the Rohnert Park Expressway near the intersection of Petaluma Hill Road. From Highway 101, take the Rohnert Park Expressway exit. Drive east 2.2 miles to the Sonoma State University entrance on your right.
As you enter campus from Rohnert Park Expressway, there are multiple parking lots immediately to your right. Parking in Lots L, M, N and O is included in the price of your ticket for all concerts at the Green Music Center.
Bring: Blankets and lawn chairs for outdoor seating. Dress in layers for outdoor seating.
Food & Drink: Outside food may be brought for your picnic. However, no outside liquids (including water, beer, wine or sodas) may be carried into the hall or onto the lawn. Free water bottle-filling stations are available. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
