The August 9-12, 2018 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival will present The Goat Hill Girls at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos. The 25th annual event is a benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
Discount Advance Tickets are now on sale. NCBS Members receive a deep discount by purchasing advance tickets, while Non-Members receive a discount. The advance ticket deadline is July 22, 2018.

Four Week Reminder: The Discount Advance Ticket Deadline is July 22, 2018 for the 25th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, August 9-12.
The benefit festival supports the year-round work of the Northern California Bluegrass Society in promoting bluegrass in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Monterey Bay Area, and all of Northern California. The event will be held at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos (7 miles south of Hollister).
CBA Bluegrass Pride Parade Float To Feature Della Mae On June 24 In San Francisco
The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes the second annual California Bluegrass Association Bluegrass Pride Float in the San Francisco LGBTQ Pride Parade on Sunday, June 24, 2018 which will run down Market Street in San Francisco.
The nationally-touring bluegrass band Della Mae will perform on the float and a bluegrass jam will follow the parade. The purpose of the parade entry is to welcome everyone to enjoy bluegrass music in Northern California.
Last year’s CBA Pride Float won first prize in the over-1000 unit parade.
The 2018 unit is also sponsored by the International Bluegrass Music Association.

NCBS Welcomes Phoebe Hunt To The 4th Annual SSU Bluegrass & Craft Beer Festival In Rohnert Park On July 15
The 4th Annual Bluegrass & Craft Beer Festival at the Green Music Center, Sonoma State University will present Phoebe Hunt & The Gatherers in Rohnert Park on Sunday July 15, 2018.
The bluegrass music program will take place on campus at the beautiful indoor-outdoor venue Weill Hall & Lawn. Seating is available both in the symphony hall and on the lawn beyond the open rear wall.
Also performing: Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder and Laurie Lewis & The Right Hands.

The 25th Annual NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival will present Jubilee (Alameda), at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos.
The August 9-12, 2018 event is a benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society.
Jubilee’s Teo Quale just won the National Fiddle Championship in his age group at the contest in Weiser, ID.
