The Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse will present the 4th AnnualBerkeley Bluegrass Festival the weekend of May 16-19, 2019. The Northern California Bluegrass Society will welcome the event, which features four evenings of concerts along with daytime workshops on Saturday and Sunday. Both full festival and daily tickets are available.
The Earls Of Leicester will headline on Saturday night.

The Summit House Beer Garden & Grill at the top of Highway 17, in the Santa Cruz Mountains only 6 miles south of Los Gatos, presents the weekly shows, which are welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

The Annual Election for the Northern California Bluegrass Society Board Of Directors will be held at the Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos on Saturday, August 10, 2019, 10:00am-5:00pm, and by mail.
Candidate Statements are due to Michael Hall by June 30, 2019, for publication in the July issue of Bluegrass By The Bay and on the NCBS Website. Statements are limited to 100 words.
This is a high honor for the young, emerging bluegrass band and will bring the band to the attention of the national and international bluegrass audience.
The popular Santa Cruz-based outfit is the reigning Best Bluegrass Band at the Northern California Bluegrass Awards.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society is a longtime organizational member of the IBMA.
