NCBS Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund Now Accepting Donations For Fall 2019 Camp

You can now donate to the Northern California Bluegrass Society Walker Creek Music Camp Scholarship Fund for deserving students attending the Walker Creek Fall 2019 Music Camp near Petaluma, set for November 1-4.

NCBS is a Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) Organization that manages the scholarship fund and makes the awards. The camp is run each spring and fall by Ingrid Noyes at the Walker Creek Ranch.

Donations can be sent to: Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society, PO Box 390846, Mountain View, CA 94039-0846. Donations may be tax-advantaged. Consult your tax advisor.

The Goat Hill Girls will return to the main stage of the 26th Annual NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, set for the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos on Thursday-Sunday, August 8-11.

The Steep Canyon Rangers Coming to Sonoma State University’s Bluegrass Festival On July 21

The Steep Canyon Rangers will come to the 2019 Sonoma State University Bluegrass Festival to be held at the Weill Hall & Lawn, Green Music Center, on the SSU campus in Rohnert Park.

Both indoor and outdoor seating will be available at the elegant July 21, 2019 event. NCBS welcomes the festival to our area.

The Dawg Trio is also on the bill. The annual Craft Beer Festival (with additional bluegrass music) will lead into the main festival at the same location.

Bluegrass traditionalists Windy Hill will play the NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival, set for August 8-11, 2019. The event is a benefit for the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

NCBS To Welcome The Pick & Gather Festival At Riverdance Farm In Livingston, Near Merced

The Northern California Bluegrass Society will welcome the 2019 Pick & Gather Festival at Riverdance Farms, Livingston, near Merced.

The relaxed gathering will take place June 1-2. Note that the new festival dates will be on the weekend after Memorial Day. The Brookdale Bluegrass Band will perform.

The unique farm, river and music event will feature bluegrass and other music, camping, information about farm-to-table food, water quality, organic farming, fruit-picking, swimming in the Merced River and other rural fun.
