Northern California Bluegrass Society

The San Benito County Historical Society will be our gracious hosts August 8-11, 2019 for the 26th Annual NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival. The festival is presented by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

The bluegrass gathering was first held in 1994 at its original location, Bolado Park,  and continued there for the next 22 years. This year’s event will be the fourth GOF Festival held at the beautiful historical park. Both venues are in the tiny hamlet of Tres Pinos, 7 miles south of Hollister.

The Historical Society will offer tours of its charming historical village during the bluegrass festival. Check the program for times and the meeting location.

The NCBS presents North Country Blue, a talented young band that will make its second appearance at the 26th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival at the lovely San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos, August 8-11, 2019. The band was a huge hit in 2018!

The Nell & Jim Band, with Nell Robinson & Jim Nunally, (Oakland) will make its first-ever appearance at the 26th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos (7 miles south of Hollister).

The 26th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival will welcome the return of Fresno’s Grasskickers to the main stage. The Northern California Bluegrass Society benefit festival will be held at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos on August 8-11, 2019.

The NCBS, founded in 1982, serves the San Francisco Bay Area, the Monterey Bay Area, and all of Northern California.

The Last Day to purchase Discount Advance Tickets on this website or by mail is this Monday, July 22. NCBS Members will receive a Deep Discount on their advance purchase, while Non-Members will receive a Discount.
