Opening Night Arrives For Bright Star Musical At The Lucie Stern Theater In Palo Alto

This Friday evening is opening night for the Steve Martin-Edie Brickell-penned Americana/Bluegrass musical Bright Star at the Lucie Stern Center Theater in Palo Alto. The program is presented by the Palo Alto Players and is welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

Area bluegrass favorite Dan Mazer will perform on the banjo with the show’s orchestra. A pleasant start to each evening’s performance will be the sounds of local bluegrass musicians jamming outside in the plaza courtyard before the formal show inside.

Performance Dates:

Friday-Sunday: September 13, 14, & 15

Thursday-Sunday: September 19, 20, 21, & 22

Thursday-Sunday: September 26, 27, 28, & 29.

The Summit House On Highway 17 Is Set To Present The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers On Thursday September 12

The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers will perform on September 12 as part of the Northern California Bluegrass Society-welcomed Thursday Bluegrass Series, which is presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill at the top of Highway 17, 6 miles south of Los Gatos.

FREE music at the establishment runs 6:00-8:30pm. Good food and drink is served. Beautiful mountain views abound.

Opening Night Is This Friday September 13 For NCBS-Welcomed “Bright Star” Americana/Bluegrass Musical In Palo Alto

Opening night for the Steve Martin-Edie Brickell-penned Americana/Bluegrass musical Bright Star at the Lucie Stern Center Theater in Palo Alto is this Friday, September 13, 2019. Tickets for the Palo Alto Players‘ show are now available.
