TheatreWorks Silicon Valley’s presentation of the musical Mark Twain’s River Of Song will close on Sunday, October 27, 2019. The bluegrass program is at the Mountain View Center For The Performing Arts. Tickets are still available online. This Saturday, October 26, north and central bay public radio station KALW in San Francisco (91.7FM and Online) will hold the fall bluegrass pledge drive.

The longtime host of the Saturday evening Bluegrass Signal radio show on the station, Peter Thompson, has published a beautiful and comprehensive 2020 Calendar of current and historical bluegrass dates. The new calendar is available only to donors who support bluegrass music on KALW Radio. You can check out the station website (and the fall bluegrass pledge drive) for more information. The minimum donation to get the calendar is only $50.

The new calendar includes all the Northern California Bluegrass Society information as well as many other key area bluegrass dates.

The 2020 Northern California Bluegrass Awards Show will be held on Saturday, January 25, 3:00-5:00pm at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center Theater, 1455 Madison Avenue in Redwood City. The FREE program is part of the 13th Annual Northern California Bluegrass Society Bluegrass On Broadway Festival, set for January 24-26, 2020.
