Local Bluegrass Musicians who usually play live for us around Northern California can sign up be listed in the new NCBS Directory to give lessons to potential bluegrass students now marooned during the Stay At Home period due to the Coronavirus Crisis.
The Directory is listed in the index on the left side of the website. Loyal fans can help out their favorite musicians and enjoy some fun lessons by checking the directory and arranging ONLINE LESSONS. The price will be between teacher and student.
NCBS hopes this FREE service will help support our deserving musicians for the duration and provide some bluegrass for folks who are stuck at home without much music. Enjoy!

Every Monday Night At 10:00pm, the NCBS Website posts a weekly guide to online bluegrass shows to help out with your stay-at-home little-cabin-on-a-hill fever. The California Bluegrass Association has announced that the June 18-21, 2020 Father’s Day Bluegrass Festival at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley, CA has been postponed to 2021 due to the Coronavirus Crisis.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society website publishes a Weekly Calendar Of Live Online Bluegrass Shows each Monday Evening (during the Coronavirus Crisis). The next selective listing of shows of interest to Bay Area and beyond bluegrass fans will run at 10:00pm on Monday, April 6.

The San Benito County Historical Society has announced that the San Benito County Historical Park is closed during the Coronavirus Crisis. The length of the closure will depend on progress against the disease and the determinations made by civil authorities. The NCBS Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival is scheduled to be held at the park August 6-9, 2020.
