The Summit House Saturday Series Brings The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers With Still Searchin’ On April 10

TheĀ NCBS-Welcomed Bluegrass SeriesĀ at theĀ Summit House will bring The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers with special guests Still Searchin’ in a FREE show this SATURDAY AFTERNOON, April 10, 2:00-4:00pm.

The top of Highway 17Ā in theĀ Santa Cruz MountainsĀ is where live bluegrass is presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill. The series happens every Saturday afternoon.Ā This show with limited seating is atĀ 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, 6 miles south ofĀ Los Gatos. The Summit House will offer food and drinks.

This is an afternoon outdoor event.Ā ReservationsĀ are recommendedĀ andĀ Strict Coronavirus RulesĀ will be enforced.

Sidesaddle & Co To Kick Off Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair On Saturday April 17

On Saturday, April 17, Sidesaddle & CoĀ will perform at the 2021 Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair to be held at The Summit House Beer Garden & Grill.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society will present the fair on four Saturdays,Ā April 17 & 24Ā andĀ May 1 & 8. from Noon to 4:00pm. The usual location at the Duck Pond Stage in San Lorenzo Park is not available this year.

Complete Bluegrass Fair Line-Up

Three bands will perform in a no admission show each Saturday afternoon in an outdoor restaurant setting with beautiful mountain views. The Summit House will offer informal food and drinks. The Summit House is a regular bluegrass venue atopĀ Highway 17Ā in theĀ Santa Cruz Mountains at 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, (6 miles south of Los Gatos).

The UPDATED line-up for the FREE NCBS/SCBS 2021 Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair at the Summit HouseĀ (note new location) has been announced. The bands:

Ā April 17: Sidesaddle & Co, Birches Bend, Bearcat Stringband Duo

April 24: Purple Mountain Majesty, Yoseff & Katya Tucker, Mission Blue

May 1: Goat Hill Girls, Pacific Drive, Dark Hollow

May 8: Wildcat Mountain Ramblers, Bean Creek, North Country Blue

 

Last Remaining “Z” Carbon Fiber Mandolin To Be Given Away In IBMA Foundation Raffle

The IBMA Foundation is raffling offĀ the final Z Mandolin ever to be made. Raffle tickets went on sale today.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society is a longtime organizational member of the International Bluegrass Music Association, which is affilated with the IBMA Foundation.

The FREE show at the top of Highway 17 in the Santa Cruz Mountains is presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill.Ā With Coronavirus Restrictions now loosened by the state, the series is planned for every Saturday afternoon.Ā This show with limited seating is at 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, 6 miles south ofĀ Los Gatos on Highway 17. The Summit House will offer food and drinks at this afternoon outdoor event.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society willĀ present the 33rd FREEĀ Santa Cruz Bluegrass FairĀ onĀ April 17 & 24 and May 1 & 8, 2021.

The bluegrass fair will feature three bands at each Saturday performance (Noon-5:00pm), The full line-up of bands will be announced soon.

Note the Beautiful New Location: The Summit House Beer Garden & Grill, high in the Santa Cruz Mountains at 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, 6 miles south of Los Gatos on Highway 17. Bluegrass fair sound will be provided by Robert Cornelius, and food & drink by The Summit House.

These shows have restaurant-style outdoor seating with all the usual Coronavirus Safety Rules strictly enforced.
