Two Week Reminder: January 31 Is Arnold Shultz Fund Grant Application Deadline From IBMA Foundation
Two Week Reminder: January 31, 2021 is the deadline for the initial round of applications for the IBMA Foundation Arnold Shultz Fund that supports bluegrass participation by people of color. Recipients can be individuals or organizations.
Shultz Fund grants can be used to support a wide range of support and outreach initiatives. The NCBS is a longtime organizational member of the International Bluegrass Music Association, which is affiliated with the Foundation. NCBS President Michael Hall is a member of the IBMA Foundation Board of Directors.
Northern California Bluegrass Society members and their friends are encouraged to apply for this important new grant opportunity.

Northern California Bluegrass Musicians are listed in the NCBS Directory to give Online Lessons. This is a safe and enjoyable way for students/fans to support area musicians during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The directory is a FREE service of the Northern California Bluegrass Society. Interested students can check the directory and arrange ONLINE LESSONS with their favorite musicians (the price is between teacher and student). The convenient Directory is listed under Resources in the index on the left side of this website.

The 27th Annual Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival Online took place on August 8, 2020. The line-up included AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Goat Hill Girls, Brookdale Bluegrass Band and Mike Fisher & Joanne Tanner.
