Coming Soon: The 33rd FREE Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair At The Summit House

The Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society will present the 33rd FREE Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair on April 17 & 24 and May 1 & 8, 2021.

The bluegrass fair will feature three bands at each Saturday performance (Noon-5:00pm), The full line-up of bands will be announced soon.

Note the Beautiful New Location: The Summit House Beer Garden & Grill, high in the Santa Cruz Mountains at 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, 6 miles south of Los Gatos on Highway 17. Bluegrass fair sound will be provided by Robert Cornelius, and food & drink by The Summit House.

These shows have restaurant-style outdoor seating with all the usual Coronavirus Safety Rules strictly enforced.

Purple Mountain Majesty Is Set To Play The Summit House This Saturday Afternoon

The NCBS-Welcomed Bluegrass Series at the Summit House will present Purple Mountain Majesty in a FREE show this SATURDAY AFTERNOON, March 27, 2:00-4:00pm. The top of Highway 17 in the Santa Cruz Mountains is a beautiful place for live bluegrass presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill.

With Coronavirus Restrictions now loosened by the state, the series happens every Saturday afternoon. This show with limited seating is at 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, 6 miles south of Los Gatos. The Summit House will offer food and drinks. Reservations are recommended and Strict Coronavirus Rules will be enforced.

Sarah Jarosz To Appear On Closing IBMA Leadership Bluegrass Online Program March 25 At 10:00am

The FREE Leadership Bluegrass Online Series: Navigating the Digital Jungle will end on Thursday, March 25 at 10:00am Pacific Time. This week’s closing discussion topic is The Artist’s Perspective: Sarah Jarosz, which will be followed by a performance from You, Me & Everybody (New Zealand).
The series is FREE and open to the public; no registration is required. Livestreams will take place on IBMA’s Facebook page. All sessions will remain on Facebook for on-demand viewing and be uploaded to YouTube the following Monday. Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair To Present The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers On May 8

The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers will perform on  May 8, 2021 at the Santa Cruz Bluegrass Fair to be held at The Summit House Beer Garden & Grill. Note new location.

The Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society and the Summit House will present the fair on four Saturdays, April 17 & 24 and May 1 & 8. from Noon to 4:00pm.

Three bands will perform in a no admission show each Saturday afternoon in an outdoor restaurant setting with beautiful mountain views. The Summit House will offer informal food and drinks. The Summit House is a regular bluegrass venue atop Highway 17 in the Santa Cruz Mountains at 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, (6 miles south of Los Gatos).

Reservations are recommended and Strict Coronavirus Rules will be enforced. Phone: (408) 353-2700.

The usual Bluegrass Fair location at the Duck Pond Stage in San Lorenzo Park in downtown Santa Cruz is not available this year.
