VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE GOOD OLD FASHIONED FESTIVAL
Plan Now To Be Vaccinated In Time For 2022 Live Bluegrass Events
Plan now to avoid missing any of your favorite live gatherings in 2022. Covid Vaccines will be required for almost all events by almost all presenters in Northern California. This includes events presented by NCBS, such as the Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival. This season, vaccines will finally make it possible to hold events with a minimum of risk…a huge improvement over the past two years.
The vaccines are FREE and WIDELY AVAILABLE. However, it will take several months to get all of the shots. Now is the time to act!

Jerry Logan & Loganville Set For March 30 Show As Sam’s BBQ Considers The Return Of Bluegrass
The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes the return of bluegrass music to Sam’s BBQ in following the pandemic. The San Jose venue has supported bluegrass and related music for decades, but has not been able to stage live music for the past two years.
A month-long experiment will be held on Wednesdays in March, including two bluegrass bands. If this experiment succeeds, regular music will continue past the end of this month. Thanks for your support!
The initial Wednesday, March 2 show with The Wildcat Mountain Ramblers was a big success with a full house, great music, and fine BBQ. Bluegrass fans have one more shot this month to show they care about the future of bluegrass music at Sam’s:
Wednesday, March 30 — Jerry Logan & Loganville. Music begins at 6:00pm. FREE.
Sam’s BBQ, 1110 S. Bascom Avenue, San Jose. (408) 297-9151. Reservations recommended.
