Time For Bluegrass Musicians To Sign Up To Offer Online Lessons During Virus Crisis On This Website

Tomorrow’s Online Bluegrass Tip: Nu-Blu, 7:00pm, FRI 3/20. Low cost, Sign Up before the show.

NOW is the time for local bluegrass musicians who usually play live around Northern California to be listed in the new NCBS Directory for giving lessons to potential bluegrass students patiently sitting at home waiting for “Shelter-In-Place” to end. The Directory is listed in the index on the left side of the website.

Sign Up To Offer Lessons: <webmaster@ncbs.us>.

Fans will be able to support their favorite musicians and enjoy some fun lessons online by checking the directory and arrange for ONLINE LESSONS. The price will be between teacher and student. NCBS hopes this free service will help keep musicians in groceries and rent for the duration and provide some bluegrass for folks who are stuck at home. Thanks for your support!

Note: The Shelter-In-Place order is now statewide and has been extended from ending on April 7 to indefinite.

NCBS Announces Support For Online Lessons By Local Musicians During Shelter-In-Place

The Northern California Bluegrass Society has announced that it will soon launch a website directory of local bluegrass musicians who will offer online lessons for students during the “Shelter-In-Place” period, now set to run through April 7 in the SF Bay Area,

This directory will include the musicians who usually play live for you at venues around Northern California, but, just like you, are currently sitting at home waiting for Shelter-In-Place to end. You can enjoy some fun lessons online by contacting your favorite musicians and “meeting” them online. The price will be between you and your teacher. NCBS hopes this will help keep musicians in groceries and rent for the duration. It will also relieve any boredom you may experience as the weeks go by. The directory will appear shortly on this website. Thanks for your support!
