A $300 Tax Deduction Is Available For 2020 Only If You Donate To The NCBS/SCBS

For 2020, even if you do not itemize, you can write off up to $300 in cash donations on your tax return when you file next spring. Normally, you would have to itemize deductions to write off charitable giving when you file your taxes. The CARES Act added a new, one-year-only $300 Charitable Contribution Deduction.

This is the year to donate up to $300 to the Northern California Bluegrass Society/Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society if you want to save on taxes. The deadline is December 31, 2020. Thanks for your support for local bluegrass music in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Monterey Bay Area, and all of Northern California! (Tax ID: 94-2907716.)
