Northern California Bluegrass Musicians can sign up to be listed in the NCBS Directory to give Online Lessons during the panedemic. The directory is a FREE service of the Northern California Bluegrass Society. Musicians can sign up to offer lessons at <webmaster@ncbs.us>.

Students/fans can support area musicians during the Coronavirus Pandemic with these lessons. Interested students can check the directory and arrange ONLINE LESSONS with their favorite musicians (the price is between teacher and student). The convenient Directory is listed under Resources in the index on the left side of this website.

One Day Reminder: IBMA Foundation Arnold Shultz Fund Applications Due On January 31st

One-Day Reminder: January 31, 2021 is the deadline for the initial round of applications for the IBMA Foundation Arnold Shultz Fund for diversity that supports bluegrass participation by people of color.

Recipients can be individuals or organizations. Shultz Fund grants can be used to support a wide range of support and outreach initiatives. The NCBS is a longtime organizational member of the International Bluegrass Music Association, which is affiliated with the Foundation. NCBS President Michael Hall is a member of the IBMA Foundation Board of Directors.

Northern California Bluegrass Society members and their friends are encouraged to apply for this important new grant opportunity. For more information about this exciting project, watch this short video:
