Raffle Tickets & Information

Pisgah Banjos is excited to offer another chance to win a unique custom banjo! Raffle tickets are $20 each. The raffle ends on FEBRUARY 28, 2023. All proceeds will benefit the Arnold Shultz Fund, a scholarship fund dedicated to people of color pursuing traditional, old-time, and bluegrass music. The first $10,000 raised in the raffle will be gifted to the Black Banjo Reclamation Project of Oakland from the Arnold Shultz Fund to support a gourd banjo building workshop in the black banjo community.

The prize is a custom-built Pisgah Banjo made from blonde Curly Maple, featuring a Dobson tone ring, 12″ pot, slotted headstock, and brass plated s-scoop with an engraved image of Arnold Shultz. Pisgah Banjos chose to benefit the Arnold Shultz fund as a way to help re-appropriate the history of the banjo.
