The Historic 30th Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival will be held August 8-11, 2024 at the San Benito County Historical Park in Tres Pinos. The NCBS Good Old Fashioned Band Committee will have the Main Stage Band Application for the 2024 festival ready on this website on DECEMBER 1, 2023. Applications will be DUE ON DECEMBER 31, 2023.
Giving Tuesday Is Tuesday November 28 2023 — Support Local Bluegrass!
Tuesday, November 28, 2023 is the annual Giving Tuesday, a great day to support non-profit organizations that do the good works throughout the that you personally support.
The Northern California Bluegrass Society can be a part of your Giving Tuesday year-end tax planning as it accepts donations to support Local Bluegrass Music in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Monterey Bay Area, and all of Northern California.
The Society is a California Not-For-Profit Corporation with Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3) status that is also known as the Santa Cruz Bluegrass Society. The NCBS/SCBS Tax ID No. is 94-2907716. The deadline for Tax-Deductible Contributions for this year is December 31, 2023.

NCBS welcomes the FREE 18th Annual Holiday Hootenanny on Friday, December 8. The gathering will be presented by the Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company, 935 Washington Street in San Carlos. Our own Scott Dailey hosts this fun bluegrass evening. Fine beer will be served. A variety of food trucks will be there. There will be space for jamming.

FREE 18th Annual Holiday Hootenanny Set For Friday December 8 In San Carlos
NCBS welcomes the FREE 18th Annual Holiday Hootenanny which will kick off December bluegrass fun on Friday, December 8. at 5:00pm. The gathering will be presented by the Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company, 935 Washington Street in San Carlos.
Our own Scott Dailey hosts this fun bluegrass evening. The Stoney Mountain Ramblers and other bands will perform. Fine beer will be served. A variety of food trucks will be there. There will be space for jamming.
