The class will be held March 4-6, 2024 in Nashville. NCBS Members are encouraged to apply for this important opportunity. NCBS is a longtime organizational member of the IBMA. NCBS president Michael Hall (Class of 2003) will be happy to answer questions and consult about applications.

NCBS welcomes the FREE 18th Annual Holiday Hootenanny which will kick off December bluegrass fun on Friday, December 8. at 5:00pm. The Stoney Mountain Ramblers and other bands will perform. Fine beer will be served. A variety of food trucks will be there. There will be space for jamming.

Peter Rowan will headline the 2024 Brookdale Bluegrass Festival at the Brookdale Lodge in Brookdale. The Northern California Bluegrass Society welcomes this annual gathering which is presented by the Brookdale Lodge and Eric Burman. The hotel festival will be held March 15-17.

Following the complete collapse of live bluegrass music during the pandemic, NCBS and other organizers have been slowly rebuilding the area’s inventory of opportunities for local bluegrass fans.
