Riley Hill & Bud Dillard Set For Thursday Lantern Stage At The Good Old Fashioned
The Lantern Stage on Thursday Evening at the August 8-11 Good Old Fashioned Bluegrass Festival will present local favorites Riley Hill & Bud Dillard.
The intimate acoustic performance will begin at 8:00pm and will be lit by attendees’ camp lights. Festival gates will open Thursday at Noon.

This Saturday July 13 Is FREE NCBS Gathering Membership & Volunteer Party At Loch Lomond
The Northern California Bluegrass Society will hold the NCBS Gathering Membership & Volunteer Party at Loch Lomond Park near Felton on Saturday July 13. Festivities will begin at Noon and end at 6:00pm.

The FREE all-day event will include food & drink, friends, and fun. It is open to NCBS members and volunteers, and also anyone interested in becoming a member or volunteer. The only cost is a per-car parking fee paid to the park.
Loch Lomond lake interpretive tours on the Newell Jewell Pontoon Boat will be offered from 11:00am-Noon. Tours can accommodate up to 25 people, with sign-ups in the park store. First come, first served. The FREE tours are offered by the park. The park will close at 8:00pm.

The festival gates will open at Noon on Thursday, August 8. No early admission. The festival will run August 8-11. Free camping is included with all multi-day tickets.

Scott Valley Bluegrass Festival (Etna, CA) Cancelled, Will Return In 2025
The Scott Valley Bluegrass Festival has been CANCELLED for this year. It will return in 2025. The festival had been set for July 19-21 in the town of Etna, off of I-5 in far Northern California.
The Scott Valley area is near a threatening wildfire and is smoked out.
The popular small-town festival was held for 10 years but has been on hiatus for the past 10 years. The festival was to be revived for 2024. It is presented by Gene Bach.
