Redwood Bluegrass Associates To Present Front Country On Saturday November 19 In Mountain View

Redwood Bluegrass Associates will present Front Country on Saturday, November 19, 2016.

All RBA programs since 1995 have been welcomed by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society. The series has brought bluegrass to the Peninsula & South Bay for 25 years, but this is the final season.

The concert will be presented at theĀ Mountain View Masonic Hall, at 890 Church Street near downtown Mountain View.

Concert doors will open atĀ 7:00pm and the concert will begin atĀ 7:30pm. An open co-ed jam hosted by The Handsome Ladies will begin atĀ 5:00pm.

Brookdale Bluegrass Presents The Winter Gathering November 27 In Felton

Brookdale Bluegrass will present theĀ 2016 Brookdale Winter Gathering onĀ Sunday, November 27.

TheĀ 7:00pm line-up includes Freebo, theĀ Brookdale Bluegrass Band, andĀ DamDave & The Left Hand Band.

The show will be held atĀ Don Quixoteā€™s inĀ Felton and will be welcomed by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society.

The bluegrass band Hidden Still is set to entertain at TheĀ Summit House at the top of Highway 17, 6 miles south of Los Gatos, onĀ Thursday, November 17, 2016 in a FREE show.

Music will runĀ 6:00-8:30pm in a program welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society and presented by the Summit House Beer Garden & Grill, 23123 Santa Cruz Highway, Los Gatos 95033.

Excellent food and drink will be served during the performance and theĀ Santa Cruz MountainsĀ view will be endless for early arrivals.

The FREE Friday, December 16 event is organized Ā by Scott Dailey, presented by Devil’s Canyon, and welcomed by the Northern California Bluegrass Society.

NCBS Bluegrass On Broadway Festival To Present The Stoney Mountain Ramblers January 27 In Redwood City

The Northern California Bluegrass Society’s 10th Annual Bluegrass On Broadway Festival will presentĀ The Stoney Mountain Ramblers on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Freewheel Brewing Company.

The weekend-long FREE event will be held at various venues in Redwood City and is principally-financed by a grant from the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission.

Three Day Reminder: Northern California Bluegrass Society Members should consider applying for theĀ 2017 IBMA Leadership Bluegrass class to be heldĀ March 20-22, 2017 in Nashville.

Applications are due online byĀ November 15, 2016.

27strings will perform atĀ Gourmet Haus Staudt,Ā 2615 Broadway inĀ Redwood City on Saturday evening,Ā January 28, 2017, 6:00-8:30pm.

The show will be part of the FREEĀ Bluegrass On Broadway Festival presented by theĀ Northern California Bluegrass Society.

The 10th annual event will be heldĀ January 27-29 at various Redwood City venues with principal financial support from theĀ Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission, theĀ Redwood City Public Library, theĀ Redwood City Department of Parks Recreation & Community Services, andĀ John Dabney.
